Benjamin is a B.CompSc (Honours) graduate from Queen’s University with a specialization in Biomedical Computing. While in the Simpson Lab, he worked on a project to automate alignment of multiplexed immunofluorescence TMA images in QuPath. He also developed spatial analysis algorithms to extract spatial immune features that might be associated with treatment outcome in non-muscle invasive bladder cancer patients.

Outside of his research, Benjamin rows competitively and enjoys cycling, cooking, and hiking in the mountains near his hometown of Calgary, Alberta.
