Hera Jamil

Hello! My name is Hera Jamil and I am a MBI student in the Simpson Lab! I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology. In the lab, I will be studying the genetic contributions to cardiovascular disease using the UK Biobank. I have previously published a paper in low-cost innovations to global cardiac surgery. In my free time, you will find me hiking or baking some brownies!
