Biography
Marina is a Master’s of Biomedical Informatics (BMIF) student in the School of Computing under the supervision of Dr. Gabor Fichtinger and Rebecca Hisey. Marina’s current research is focused on fine tuning the deep learning methods for surgical workflow detection in the Perk Inguinal Hernia Tutor simulator. She is also working on a segmentation model for the objective detection of Hydronephrosis from CT images.
